IMG_1635-Modified copy

Ah, I can already smell the cinnamon spice in the air! It’s time to snuggle up in your favorite quilt and grab a hot cup of tea, and enjoy a nice Netflix holiday movie! This is my favorite time of year to sew (who isn’t, right?) to sew several small projects in order to make plenty for myself and my loved ones. I’ve noticed that mug rugs are all over the internet and I can totally see why because it checks all the boxes of what I’m looking forward to sewing!

Bargello Technique Tutorial from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

Edited copy

Welcome back to another tutorial, makers!

One of my favorite things to sew is strips of fabric because I find myself in a trance under my sewing machine, and at that point, I feel unstoppable. In the last part of that blog, we spoke about the small-scale fabric prints and in this section, I wanted to dive deeper into what that is and how they are also considered a blender fabric.

First, let's talk about the definition of a blender fabric. These ...

Hello Makers, Sewists, and Quilters!

My name is Sheri of Whole Circle Studio and I am a designer, independent quilt pattern publisher, professional quilter, and teacher. I’m super excited to share the evolution of my latest quilt block pattern—Typecast Fast and some fun projects that Art Gallery Fabrics and I collaborated on.
